Pluggable combined overvoltage protection for electrical and electronic devices with supply voltage of 230 V. Application for analogue and digital telephone lines, IT and networks. The adapter plug is connected to a socket on the mains side and to the end device to be protected via a power cable on the device side. The protective circuit consists of a GDT varistor combination with a thermal fuse, which separates the protective device from the circuit in the event of damage.
